ARCHITECTURE DESIGN STUDIO I
PROJECT 1: Self Expression through Object 'Representing Me'
Project 1 Self-Expression through Object 'Representing Me' project is the first project in the module Architecture Design Studio I and it is an individual project. I am required to identify my own personality and choose one of my personality that best describe me to transform the key word into elements and principles of design in a creative way. By using the design elements and principles, I would have to create a mask, gloves or head gear that best represents my key word personality. The mask, gloves or head gear have to be an abstract and creative form of artwork. Besides that, instead of creating these artworks, I also had to work on a presentation board with not only words but also drawings, sketches and a picture that describes my artwork.
REFLECTION:
In this project, I had chosen to express my quiet personality by first exploring the key word of my personality, quiet and then transform the key words into elements and principles of design. I had used lines, shapes and forms as my elements of design, and radomness and texture as my design principles. With these design elements and principles, I used them to create a mask to represent my quiet personality. As for my presentation board, I had included a mind map to show my key word personality, a brief description of my mask, design process, design elements and principles and a picture of me wearing my mask.
PROJECT 2: SELF EXPRESSION THROUGH ARCHITECTURAL SPACE 'PAVILLION'
Project 2 Self Expression through Architectural Space 'Pavillion' is a group project which consists of seven people in a group. In this project, our group are required to select a user for the pavillion from our group members. We have to understand the personality, characteristics and dimensions of our user in order to express them and relate them for the design of our pavillion. Our group also have to do three to five A3 size presentation boards with descriptions, design concepts, and orthographic drawing with scale of 1:20 of our pavillion.

REFLECTION:
In this project, my tutorial group was divided by my tutor according into two small group which consists of seven people in each small group. In my group, we decided to choose a member from our group named Kimberly to be our user for the pavillion. In order for us to design the pavillion, we first measured her and she has to describe her own personality and characteristics to us in order for us to design a pavillion that suits her personality and dimensions. In the process of designing the pavillion, two of my group members came out with a mock up model both for the interim sessions. My group leader had divided the workload by deciding five members to built the pavillion structure and two members to work on the presentation boards.
PROJECT 3: DREAMSPACE FOR THE USER 'A HIDE OUT'
Project 3 Dreamspace for the User 'A Hide Out' is an individual project and also the last project of this module. This project is about designing a desired hide out or a dreamspace with the scale of 1:50 for a user which is our ownself. Through the process of designing, I would have to write a narrative about my own story and from the narrative story I would had to design my hide out that was related to it. I am also required to come out with three to four A2 size presentation boards.
